Angel is a former U.S Navy SEAL with 25 years of military service and currently serves as a Security Contractor with Global Response Staff. With a wealth of Special Operations combat experience in hostile threat environments, Angel specializes in clandestine threat reporting in austere high threat locations worldwide.

Angel hails from Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, moved at the age of 3 and grew up in Long Beach, California. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Saint Leo, Florida, and has an advanced training certification in Homeland Defense Operations..

Angel proudly joined the U.S. Navy in 1990, shortly after high school, and served as an Aircrew Survival Equipment Specialist early in his Navy career under VA-165 and Experimental VANOP-DET commands in Whidbey Island, Washington. Post-graduation from BUD/s Class 255, he later served on SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team Two, SEAL Team Ten, Development Group G-Squadron augmentee, CFSOCC-AFG, NSWU-Four, Naval Special Warfare Group Two, and the COMSUBIN Incorsouri ITA. As a contractor, he served as the Theater Coordinator for 70+ Special Operations staff for the IRQ/SYR theater, earning multiple service awards.

Angels’ service awards include the Bronze Star with V, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal with V, Navy Commendations with V, and Navy Achievement medals.

Angel is both proud and thrilled to support multiple non-profit organizations including SEAL Family Legacy, Kids For Vets, SEAL Legacy Foundation, and the SEAL Museum (FL).

When he’s home, Angel enjoys engaging in home projects and building. He loves immersing himself in a project and giving it his all, creating personal magic. His passions include various activities in the ocean such as surfing, swimming, and diving, however, his biggest passion lies in mentoring individuals of all ages. He believes that life has given him the drive and passion to give back from his knowledge base in all aspects of life, whether it’s personal, financial, or professional and he enjoys sharing his mistakes and achievements with others.

Angel continues his philanthropy work with the aforementioned non-profit’s and actively seek out organizations that carry meaningful causes.
