SEAL Family Legacy is a 501c3, 100% volunteer organization supporting Gold Star families from all branches of the military.
EDUCATE
We educate the public on what a Gold Star Family is: AN IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER OF A FALLEN SERVICE MEMBER WHO DIED WHILE IN ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE TO OUR COUNTRY.
RAISE AWARENESS
We raise awareness for service men/women with children who were killed in service to our country.
PROVIDE SUPPORT
We provide financial and individual one-on-one support to the immediate family/children left behind.
FURTHER LEGACIES
We instill the message that Gold Star children have their own legacy; we support, mentor, encourage, and spend time with Gold Star children.

Our PROGRAMS
To best serve Gold Star Families, we regularly solicit feedback from them to determine how we can best provide support within our means. The following are
FAMILY SUPPORT
When a family becomes a single parent family unexpectedly, costs can quickly rise to care for the children left behind. Through our beneficiary program, we provide a $20,000 donation to Gold Star families we sponsor.
BIRTHDAY CARDS FOR KIDS
With the families we “adopt” each year, every child from every family we have served receives a birthday card on their birthday with a handwritten note from each board member. Every card also contains $100. We want these Gold Star children to know they are never forgotten…they are remembered and cared for.
LEGACY BUDDY EXPERIENCES
We provide unique experiences, like tickets to NFL games, fishing trips & learning how to fish, theme park tickets and more for Gold Star children and families through the generous donations of businesses. If a child’s parent cannot attend, our team or other background checked volunteers will donate their time to help create memorable experiences.
EVENTS & AUCTION DONATIONS
Each year, SEAL Family Legacy holds a variety of events. The largest and most-attended of these events is a Gala and ride and cruise, both of which are held in July each year. Volunteers and donated auction items are vital to the success of these events.

BIRTHDAY CARD CAMPAIGN
Thanks to generous donors, we’re able to support a birthday card program that includes $100 and a handwritten note from all board members in every card sent to Gold Star children until they turn 18, at which time they receive $200 in their birthday card.
