Legacy Buddies Grant Program

Legacy Buddies Grant Program

In  keeping with the mission of SEAL Family Legacy to support Gold Star Families with children 18 and under, the Legacy Buddies program is intended to meet specific needs of Gold Star Children that will enrich the life of the child. Examples of specific needs are a summer camp, music lessons, or sport equipment. The program is available to Gold Star Families nationwide, provided they meet the true definition of a Gold Star Family. Requests should be made out of necessity where financial hardship exists. There is a limit of one request per child annually with a maximum yearly grant amount of $1,000 per child. If severe financial hardship exists SEAL Family Legacy may consider more than one grant request per year. SEAL Family Legacy will review each application on a monthly basis. Once your application is reviewed a SEAL Family Legacy representative will contact you. Acceptance of a Legacy Buddies Grant does not exclude a family from future consideration for the Gold Star Family Endowment Program.
